WHO SHOULD USE THE PMD PERSONAL MICRODERM?

WHEN CAN I EXPECT TO SEE RESULTS WITH MY PMD PERSONAL MICRODERM?
After 8-12 weeks of consistent use individuals may see a reduced appearance in fine lines, wrinkles, uneven skin tone and hyper pigmentation.
WHAT SHOULD I DO BEFORE MY FIRST PMD PERSONAL MICRODERM TREATMENT?
Always do a test on your inner forearm or behind your ear before using on your face.
- start with the white training disc
- Make sure you move the device smoothly over each area, DO NOT hover over a section
- Move over each section once
- Do not apply pressure
- Hold skin tight and glide the PMD Personal Microderm across skin
- Keep skin clean, moisturized and apply sunscreen
HOW SHOULD I USE THE PMD PERSONAL MICRODERM IN CONJUNCTION WITH MY SKIN CARE ROUTINE?
1 Cleanse skin and allow to dry completely
2 use the PMD personal microderm, follow instructions of use carefully
3.Do not hover over the same area more then once
4 Do not apply pressure
5 pull skin tight and move PMD personal microderm over face
WHAT ARE THE DISCS MADE UP OF ?
The patented discs are made up of aluminum oxide crystal, it is completely safe and non-toxic
HOW DO I KNOW WHEN I CAN INCREASE INTENSITY OF DISCS
Everyone skin type is different. Some very sensitive skin types may never need to increase their disc level or exfoliation intensity. The disc colour will depend on your skin type and skin treatment goals. We recommend that all skin types begin with the white training disc, if your skin responds well then you may move to the grey discs after the white disc need replacing. Always remember to to gradually increase the intensity of disc as indicated. If you move between disc or skip a disc level and move to a higher intensity too fast you risk creating red marks and stabbing.
This will happen if you don’t follow instructions carefully and familiarize yourself with the type of discs and their intensity.
HOW LONG WILL EACH DISC LAST?
Each disc last for 3-4 uses. The size of the area being treated and length of treatment will will determine how long discs last
WHAT ARE THE TYPE OF DISCS THAT COME WITH MY PMD PERSONAL MICRODERM?
The PMD Personal Microderm comes with face and body discs
The body discs can be used on elbows, knees for a pampering manicure and pedicure. For these body parts a higher intensity disc maybe required
CAN I USE THE PMD PERSONAL MICRODERM CLOSE TO MY EYES?
NO, the skin on the eye area is extremely sensitive and this is not recommend at all
Treating the area below eye area and above the brow bone will still show great results
DO I APPLY PRESSURE TO MY SKIN WHILE USING THE PMD PERSONAL MICRODERM?
NO, no need to apply pressure, the suction of the PMD personal microderm will help the perfectly calibrated to remove the dead dull skin
WHAT HAPPENS IF I APPLY TOO MUCH PRESSURE?
If pressure is applied, the risk of exfoliating more then just the top layer of dead skin.
This may result in redness and stabbing
CAN I USE MY PMD PESONAL MICRODERM MORE THEN ONCE A WEEK?
NO, be patient to see great results, the personal microderm exfoliates the top layer of dead dull skin, your skin needs a minimum of 1 week to rejuvenate
WHAT IF I DONT SEE ANY DEAD SKIN COMING OFF WHILE USING MY PMD PERSONAL MICRODERM?
Not everyone will see the skin residue. This depends on your skin type, as oily skins might see less residue then dry skin types, the personal Microderm is still working. Make sure the disc is positioned properly and contact with your skin occurs.
WHAT HAPPENS IF I GET RED MARKS, MINOR BRUISING OR SCRAPES AFTER USING MY PMD PERSONAL MICRODERM?
If the PMD personal microderm is held too long over one spot, it could cause dermabrasion, a treatment performed by specialist where deeper layer of skin is removed. It is possible that you have an area of dermabrasion. To help these areas heal and regenerate properly, we suggest the following
- cleanse skin to avoid infection
- Keep area moist to promote healing
- Avoid sun exposure, during and after skin has healed. Use sunscreen everyday. New skin is more sensitive to sun damage
- Your skin should heal in 5-7 days
- During this period DO NOT use your personal Microderm
When your skin is healed and you are comfortable to in continuing treatment we suggest you start again with the white training discs
WHO SHOULD NOT USE THE PMD PERSONAL MICRODERM?
Anyone doing chemical peels or the following Hydroxy Acids, Malic Acids, Lactic Acid, Retinoids or Retin A ingredients must not be used with the PMD Personal Microderm at the same time.
This may cause skin to be too sensitive. Before use of the PMD Personal Microderm make sure you discontinue use of these product types at least 7 days before treatment.
HOW DO I TAKE CARE OF MY PMD PERSONAL MICRODERM?
Clean and rinse Cap and filter between each use with warm water and soap. Replace disc every 3-4 uses. Replace the filter every 3-4 months
WHAT IF MY PMD PERSONAL MICRODERM DOESNT HAVE SUCTION?
Trouble- Shooting guide
- make sure Cap is screwed on correctly, creating a tight seal between the Black rubber O-ring and Cap
- Tighten the cap as tight as possible. If the cap is not tight, the seal will be broken and there won’t be any suction
- Check black rubber O-ring. This is a replaceable part, you can remove and clean gently. The black rubber O-ring is an important part to seal the cap and device and ensure good vacuum suction
- Make sure your filter is cleaned after each use
WHY WONT MY PMD PERSONAL MICRODERM CHARGE?
The PMD Personal Microderm Classic, Pro and Man devices must be plugged in to operate, it is not a cordless beauty tool. The power cord supplied is not a charger and the PMD Personal Microderm needs a constant, steady flow of power while in use.
